B2B Sales Presentation Design: A Brief for Dubai Businesses

A sales deck should help a buyer understand a specific offer and decide the next step. Brief the story, evidence and delivery format together so your presentation works in the meeting and after it is forwarded.

Consider what is relevant to your business

Start with the decision, not the slide count

Before choosing a template, write down who will use the presentation and what they need to decide. A procurement team comparing suppliers needs different detail from a first-time visitor at an exhibition stand. Name the primary reader, their question and the next useful conversation.

For B2B presentation design in Dubai, include the actual markets and languages required. Avoid turning one deck into a catalogue of every service. A focused core story with optional supporting slides is easier to adapt than a long company history that every presenter must skip.

Build a short story around the offer

Outline the message before designing individual slides. A practical sequence is: the customer problem; the relevant offer; how it works; suitable evidence; scope and responsibilities; the next step. This is a planning structure, not a mandatory number of slides.

Use slide titles that explain the point. Replace a vague heading such as “Our solutions” with a statement that tells the reader which problem that section addresses. Keep supporting detail close to the statement it explains.

Choose evidence your business can stand behind

Use approved product photographs, clear process diagrams and project examples your team has permission to share. Label conceptual designs as concepts. A client logo does not establish which work you delivered, and a number without its period and method can mislead a reader.

Record the source and approval owner for each factual claim. Remove private customer details and account screenshots from the general sales version. Where a specific example is confidential, describe the process without identifying the client or inventing a replacement result.

Design the live and forwarded versions together

A presentation shown across a meeting room needs short, legible messages. A document forwarded without a presenter needs enough explanation to make sense on its own. Agree whether your team needs one carefully balanced file or a live deck plus a separate reading version.

  • Use a clear heading hierarchy and sufficient text/background contrast.
  • Keep charts and diagrams understandable without colour alone.
  • Add meaningful alternative text to useful images in the editable file.
  • Check reading order, descriptive links and the exported PDF.

Microsoft’s PowerPoint accessibility guidance provides a practical reference for these checks. A visual review alone does not establish that the document is accessible.

Brief the assets and approvals before production

Give the designer current brand guidelines, usable logo files, approved service descriptions and the best available images. Mark missing material instead of letting the layout disguise it. If new photography or a product demonstration is required, treat that production as an agreed part of the scope.

For Arabic and English versions, identify who prepares and approves each language. Review text direction, numerals, line breaks and layout in each version rather than assuming that translated copy will fit the same slide.

Bring the deck into the same visual language as your brand identity, website and commercial photography. For exhibition coverage itself, use our separate November exhibition photo and video brief.

Agree a handover your sales team can use

Specify the editable format, approved master file, font and image permissions, exported formats and the person responsible for later updates. Ask for reusable layouts for the sections the team changes regularly, such as product details or scope.

Test the final deck on the actual presentation device. Open the PDF on a phone, follow the enquiry link and check that video has a useful fallback when connectivity is poor. These checks are more useful than adding another decorative animation.

Send a focused presentation brief

Share the audience, meeting context, existing deck, approved evidence, languages, deadline and required outputs. Identify the final approval owner and whether the presentation will be public, sent to selected buyers or used only in person.
